Voting in the 2008 general election ends
Watch the results come through from 7.00pm on the election results website www.electionresults.govt.nz.
The Chief Electoral Office targets for the release of the preliminary results are by:
- 8.30pm All advance votes counted
- 10.00pm 50 percent of polling place votes counted
- 11.30pm 100 percent of polling place votes counted
From Sunday 9 November, the Chief Electoral Office will conduct the official count and expects to release the official results for the 2008 General Election at 2.00pm Saturday 22 November.
