The Representation Commission reviewed the boundaries and names of New Zealand’s electorates from October 2013 to April 2014.

This review fixed the electorate boundaries for the general elections in 2014 and 2017.

The Commission changed the boundaries of 46 electorates and added a new general electorate in Auckland. The changes moved about 380,000 people into different electorates.
